Hwy 80 to be closed night of May 17

Weather permitting, all lanes of US 80 will close at FM 460/Clements Drive from 8 p.m. Friday, May 17 through 5 a.m. Saturday, May 18 for bridge demolition as part of the ongoing project.

Traffic will detour to the frontage roads during this closure. Motorists will need to plan extra travel time.

This work is part of the ongoing $129 million construction project awarded to Webber, LLC. The project is anticipated for overall completion in spring 2026, weather permitting.
